i am stuffed

all of my nooks & crannies are full
their neon signs glow no vacancy
most flicker
because they are so full
and would like very much to be vacant

i am stuffed

i would like to sit and unplug my holes and let my sludge run into the dirt
i would like to be left out to dry & forgotten and they would pass me baking in the earth and say
leave it be

i am stuffed

with all of the me’s i am not & would very much like to be told what to do with
to label them in mason jars?
and put them on shelves and watch them become weird & putrid
or sprout new limbs and walk away
to return them?
